The team identifies, evaluates, and drives performance/u2011scaling opportunities (3/u20135 year horizon) through innovative circuit, signaling, packaging, and interconnect solutions/u2014all within a culture of diligent, continuous learning./n/nResponsibilities/n/n * Contribute to new product development by supporting the design, layout, and optimization of critical analog and mixed/u2011signal circuits using comprehensive modeling./n * Drive the layout process including floor/u2011planning, placement, and routing activities./n * Support design validation via test/u2011chip preparation, reticle experiments, and required tape/u2011out revisions./n * Verify layout quality using DRC, LVS, and other vendor-supplied or internal verification tools./n * Deliver high/u2011quality block/u2011level layouts on schedule./n * Collaborate across fields, including Signal Integrity, Circuit and Chip Design, and Packaging R/u0026D./n/n/n/nMinimum Qualifications/n/n * 8+ years of layout experience,



including multiple design tape/u2011outs./n * Proficiency in Cadence VLE/VXL and Mentor Graphics Calibre DRC/LVS./n * Proven success in analog and/or high/u2011speed I/O circuit layout design and floor/u2011planning./n * Strong understanding of analog layout fundamentals: matching, shielding, coupling, cross/u2011talk, electromigration, latch/u2011up, dummy elements, IR drop, and parasitic impacts on area/power/performance./n * Experience with SPF analysis/simulation and layout modification for performance optimization./n * Demonstrated expertise in physical verification of custom layouts./n * Basic understanding of CMOS processes./n * Strong written and verbal communication skills./n/n/n/nPreferred Qualifications/n/n * Ability to work collaboratively within the broader Pathfinding and Strategy team./n * Flexibility to support a variety of technical areas as needed./n/n/n/nLayout/Mask Designer E5/n/nRelocation Level: TBD/n/nBefore Getting Started Please review Micron/u2019s Internal Job Application Policy on your regional PeopleNow Career Opportunities page before searching and applying for jobs.
