This role is idóneo for someone ready to step into a manager-level position, taking ownership of the full tax cycle for a portfolio of digital entrepreneur clients.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review 1040s, Cs, and 1120s for content creator clients with revenues under $1M.Build and use sub-schedules to reconcile P&Ls; before finalizing returns.Handle S-Corp basis tracking and AAA accounts with expertise.Identify and correct preparation errors before the review stage.Provide written feedback to junior preparers on errors when capacity allows.Manage client communication through TaxDome, resolving tax questions independently.Participate in client tax calls, assisting with savings walkthroughs and answering client questions.Oversee the work of one staff accountant,
ensuring quality and accuracy.Coach staff on return quality and provide constructive feedback.RequirementsProven experience in independently preparing 1040s and Cs.Experience in S-Corp / 1120S preparation, including basis tracking and AAA accounts.Knowledge of LLC taxation and multi-state / Nexus filing.Proficiency in cloud-based tax software.Ability to read and reconcile P&Ls;, balance sheets, and K-1s.Active CPA or EA designation.Experience managing or overseeing junior tax staff is preferred.Familiarity with payroll and 401k knowledge for S-Corp clients is preferred.Interest in AI tools and their impact on tax preparation workflows.A natural curiosity and commitment to ongoing research and learning.Nice to HavesExperience working in a firm that serves digital entrepreneurs or content creators.Comfort with virtual communication tools and remote work environments.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.Flexibility to work in Eastern or Central Time zones.Join their team and help shape the financial futures of our dynamic clients!
