Senior Production Planner – Food & Beverage ManufacturingAbout the RoleWe are seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior Production Planner to lead production planning activities in a fast-paced food & beverage manufacturing environment.
This role plays a critical part in balancing demand, capacity, and inventory to ensure optimal service levels while maintaining efficiency, quality, and food safety standards.You will act as a key connector across Supply Chain, Operations, and Commercial teams—driving alignment and delivering data-driven decisions that impact business performance.What You'll DoLead the development and execution of short- and mid-term production plans aligned with demand forecastsOptimize capacity planning, sequencing, and resource utilization across production linesCollaborate with Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality, and Logistics to ensure material availability and smooth operationsMonitor and adjust production schedules to respond to demand variability and operational constraintsDrive inventory optimization strategies to balance service levels, shelf life, and waste reductionAnalyze KPIs (service level, plan adherence, inventory turns, waste)



and implement corrective actionsIdentify risks and proactively develop mitigation plans to avoid disruptionsLead or support S&OP; / IBP processes, ensuring alignment across functionsChampion continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, process optimization, digital tools)Mentor and guide junior planners, fostering team developmentWhat We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field5+ years of experience in production planning within manufacturingStrong understanding of capacity planning, inventory management, and demand planning conceptsExperience working with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)Advanced Excel and data analysis skillsKnowledge of food safety standards (GMP, HACCP)Proven ability to manage complexity, prioritize, and make decisions under pressureStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsContinuous improvement mindset (Lean/Six Sigma is a plus)Ready to Make an Impact?
