Goal of position
TheMechanicalDesigner in Automationisresponsiblefordevelopinganddesigningmechanicalcomponentsandsystemstoenhanceourautomatedprocesses.
Thisrolefocusesoncreatinghigh-qualitydesignsthatmeetprojectrequirementswhileensuringmanufacturabilityandcost-effectiveness.
The idealcandidatewillpossessstrongskillsinmechanicaldesign and asoundunderstandingofautomationtechnologiestoensureseamlessintegrationwithexistingsystems.
Inthisposition,youwillcollaboratewithcross-functionalteams,includingengineers,automationtechnicians, andproductionstaff, todeliverinnovativesolutionsthatimproveoperationalefficiency.Yourworkwillinvolvegeneratingdetaileddesignspecifications,performingsimulations, andvalidatingprototypestoensuretheymeetperformancecriteria.Yourexpertisewillcontributeto thecontinuousimprovementofourautomationprojectsand supportourcommitmenttomaintainingthehighestindustrystandards.
Formal prerequisites for the position
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
Experience in mechanical design.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes.




Familiarity with automation systems and basic PLC programming is a plus.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Availability to work adaptable hours or on-call as needed.
High knowledge in finite element analysis.
Tasks
Design and develop mechanical components for automation systems.
Create detailed drawings and specifications for manufacturing processes.
Collaborate with engineers and technicians to integrate designs into automated systems.
Conduct simulations and testing on prototypes to validate design functionality.
Review and refine existing designs to enhance performance and reduce costs.
Maintain thorough documentation of designs, specifications, and changes.
Participate in design reviews and provide feedback for continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsible for the delivery of the mechanical BOM (Bill of materials).
Responsible for the correct concept at the assembly.
