**JOB DESCRIPTION**: The MRO Buyer is responsible for coordinating the movement of purchased materials from suppliers and addressing any supply/supplier issues. The MRO Buyer is also responsible for maintaining and creating new relationships with suppliers and negotiation of prices and cost-saving measures to fit within the company budget. Other tasks include resolving issues pertaining to material defects, invoice discrepancies as well as delivery timelines.
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Prepare purchase orders and review requisitions for goods and services.
- Negotiate, renegotiate, and administer contracts with suppliers, vendors, and other representatives.
- Purchase the highest quality merchandise at the lowest possible price and in correct amounts.
- Analyze price proposals, financial reports, and other data and information to determine reasonable prices.
- Follow up on MRO purchase orders




- Ensure all requisitions and purchase documents comply with established processes, policies, and procedures
- Update core data and vendor details in the system
- Maintain inventory for indirect materials to meet stated goals or inventory turns and cycle counts
- Maintain the cost-quality relation
**EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Bachelor's degree
- Bilingual
- 3 to 5 years of experience in MRO purchasing
- MRP System
- Price negotiation with suppliers
- Previous experience in sew industry (desirable)
- Advanced excel
