**Location**:Ontario
**Position Type**:Permanent, full-time
**Salary**: $28.85 hourly + benefits
The CNC setup machinist is responsible for ensuring they complete their assigned work in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with our specifications, and to recognize that the quality of their work affects the overall performance of the organization. It is important that the CNC setup machinist communicates effectively with their supervisor and colleagues toward a positive outcome. The CNC setup machinist is always looking for ways to improve set up and reduce machining cycle times.
**Job Duties**:
- Program editing and set-up machine tools as per Job Card.
- Operation of all CNC and Manual equipment
- Set-up workstation for safe operation, meeting the required setup standards.
- Perform in-process inspection as per our Quality System.
- Submit the first off part to Quality Control for inspection/testing. If on second shift,



submit first off part to peer for inspection/testing.
- Ensure the Inspection Record is complete.
**Skills Required**:
- **Intermediate knowledge of English Language**:
- Well-developed experience with setup and operation of all CNC equipment
- Experience with Master Cam or another similar system.
- Technical trade college or equivalent experience
- Basic Knowledge of ISO9001 requirements
- Knowledge of first-off inspection
- Ability to use measuring equipment (micrometers, vernier calipers, bore gauges, comparators)
- **Basic programming on both CNC Mill and Lathes**
**Salary**: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per month
