Position overview: We are looking for a self-motivated, talented, proactive Team Lead.
- Responsibilities: Work within an Agile setting, conducting daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning and retrospective ceremonies
- Set up sprint goals for the team
- Estimate, identify, and execute high priority work for the team
- Identify and remove blockers for the team
- Break-down large features into epics/stories designing the solution with solid architectural and technical decisions
- Share knowledge and experience through mentoring, code reviews, technical and thought leadership in internal-facing activities
- Lead technical discussions, facilitate/present the pros and cons of various approaches, and drive sound decisions that the stakeholders accept




- Communicate and report effectively across scrum teams to deliver features and business value
- Requirements: B.S. in software development, computer science, or related field
- 8+ years of relevant work experience in software development and design
- 3+ years of experience coaching and mentoring an agile software team
- Deep understanding of computer science fundamentals (e.g., algorithms and data structures)
- Deep understanding of JavaScript and at least one JS framework (React, Vue, Angular)
- Deep understanding of Node.js and at least one Node framework (express, sail, koa, Nest.js)
- Deep understanding of the full software development lifecycle
- Deep understanding of SOA-related standards such as REST/JSON
- Solid understanding of database systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc)
- Solid understanding of Git and managed source control services like GitHub
- Foundational knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Foundational knowledge of DevOps principles and practices
- Good spoken English
