**Job Summary**
Accounting Specialist will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting duties, preparing and managing financial reports, and analyzing financial data to support informed decision-making. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as proficiency in financial analysis and reporting.
**Responsibilities**
- Perform day-to-day accounting tasks, including data entry, account reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and potential risks.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather and analyze financial data.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, required.




- Master's degree in Accounting or Finance, preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and financial analysis tools.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
**Preferred Qualifications**
- CPC Accounting Certification or progress towards Certification.
- Experience in the energy industry.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools.
