Ensure the supply of indirect materials ,supplies and services in terms of quality, quantity, time and price, such as spare parts, machinery & equipment requested by the departments of the manufacturing area seeking always price optimization and delivery times.
Receive authorized requisitions andcreate purchase orders, based on authorized prices, for the purchase of
indirect materials requested by the manufacturing area, such as: spare parts supplies, machining works, maintenance services for machinery and equipment, installation projects, maintenance to plant and buildings.
- Make contributions based on the purchasing policy, when the procedure so requires, of the materials or services requested by users so that they can prepare a purchase requisition.
- Place purchase orders and follow up on their delivery and total receipt of goods or services in the general store.
- Coordinate and ensure compliance in the acquisition of the indirect materials and supplies necessary to cover emergencies in the manufacturing area and maintain the continuity of manufacturing in the Machines and / or peripheral equipment of the plant.
- Evaluate and develop suppliers (respecting established commercial agreements) in order to have different supply alternatives, focused on the improvement of commercial conditions.
- Manage and supervise before the accounting department the registration of new suppliers in the system.




- Coordinate with foreign suppliers and with the import department the necessary documents for the correct importation of materials.
- Ensure that purchase orders generated through user requisitions comply with purchasing policies as well as the commercial conditions established by the company.
- Negotiate goods or services not included in the price list based on purchase policy that support saving projects of the company
- Elaborate KPI´s to develop actual and future vendors
Experiência y requisitos
- BS degree in Business, Industrial Engineering or related field
- 3 years in a similar position: negotiation, price analysis, negotiation techniques, import knowledge, inventory control, ERP systems management
- Advance skills in MS Office, Oracle, BPS or SAP is a must.
- Strong organization and problem solving skills
- Result oriented, sense of urgency, excellent service attitude, persistence.
- Ability to adapt to a flexible environment
