We are seeking an experienced **Lead Backend Developer** proficient in Go Language to join our team.
The customer is an American healthcare company that operates a telemedicine platform and a free-to-use website and mobile app that track prescription drug prices in the United States and provide free drug coupons for discounts on medications.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Communicate efficiently with customers and handle their requests promptly
- Develop and maintain infrastructure for unit and automated testing
- Design, implement, and ensure the scalability and performance of services
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to consider all aspects of design decisions
- Conduct code reviews to maintain quality standards and foster knowledge sharing
- Produce or evaluate technical design proposals and proof of concepts
- Advocate for engineering best practices and aim for higher engineering standards across the board
- Encourage operational excellence by thoroughly testing and monitoring systems, documenting processes, and participating in an on-call rotation
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- 3+ years of strong Go experience
- 5+ years of total software development experience
- 1+ year of relevant leadership experience (team up to 7 FTEs)
- Proficiency in gRPC and a solid understanding of AWS, Docker, Kubernetes
- Proven ability in designing, building, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based web services and microservices
- No stranger to continuous delivery, automated testing, and passionate about code quality




- Flexibility to use diverse technologies and tools according to project needs
- Ability to work directly with the customer without supervision
- English level B2 or higher
