At **EmTech Institute**, we're building a **Faculty Training Program in Applied Artificial Intelligence**, and we’re seeking a professional to **design the course and serve as the lead academic tutor**, guiding university professors through hands-on, real-world AI learning.
**What we’re looking for**:
- Prompt engineering (basic and advanced)
- Using APIs (OpenAI, Claude, Mistral)
- Open-source models and fine-tuning (LoRA, Hugging Face)
- Retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems
- Prototyping apps with Streamlit or Gradio
- Cloud deployment (Colab, GitHub, Hugging Face Spaces)
- Explainable AI (XAI), computer vision, and multimodal models




**Key responsibilities**:
- Design the 16-week course structure and content
- Facilitate live sessions and provide technical mentorship
- Support the development of real-world projects by university faculty
- Bring both **technical expertise and pedagogical insight** to the learning experience
**Preferred qualifications**:
- Experience in higher education or faculty training
- Strong communication and mentoring skills
- Passion for scaling talent development across Latin America
**Position details**:
- **Compensation**: $120 USD/hour
- **Work mode**: 100% remote
- **Estimated time commitment**: 6-8 hours per week
