**Your role and responsibilities**
In this role, you will have the opportunity to purchase materials according to required technical specifications, price, delivery schedule, and terms. Each day, you will ensure purchasing activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying new suppliers in cooperation with the relevant category team.

This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions division in San Luis Potosi.




You will be mainly accountable for:
- Initiating Purchase Orders in the system, according to the purchase requisitions and in alignment with standard procedures, and confirming delivery with suppliers, monitoring, and tracking supplier performance to PO requirements.
- Negotiating agreements with main suppliers, and periodically renews price lists and terms and conditions to achieve savings.
- Internal Customer Service: Close communication with business stakeholders and provide support on the purchasing topics
- Active support to analyses and solve Past Due invoices with the Payables team, supplier and internal users
- Register and Qualifies new suppliers in proper systems in close communication with stakeholders.
**Qualifications for the role**
- Bachelors Degree in International trade, Business Management, Industrial engineering or Similar.
- 1-2 Years experience in Indirect Purchasing in the manufacturing industry
- Advanced English
- SAP or other ERP knowlege
- Excel proficiency and data management (Vlookup, Macross) General knowledge of AI tools (preferred)
