**1:1 Academic Support KS3 (Part-Time)**

A highly respected secondary school in **South Manchester**, known for its outstanding achievements and inclusive ethos, is seeking a caring and committed individual to provide **1:1 academic support** to a **KS3 student**. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to make a real difference by supporting a student s learning and confidence over an extended period.
**About the Role**
- Providing personalised, 1-to-1 academic support to a **KS3 girl**, helping her to stay engaged and make sustained progress across the curriculum
- Working collaboratively with teaching staff, SENCOs, and pastoral teams to adapt resources and support strategies
- Supporting the student s independence, motivation, and wellbeing in a consistent and nurturing manner
- Contributing to a positive school experience by reinforcing classroom learning and encouraging self-belief
- Role to be carried out across **three days per week**, on a regular schedule
- Experience working with students in a **school or education support setting** (tutoring, TA, LSA, mentoring, etc.)
- Strong communication skills, patience, and a student-centred approach
- Ability to build positive relationships and encourage resilience in learners
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
- A clear understanding of **safeguarding** and confidentiality in line with **KCSIE** guidance
**Pay**
From £90 a per day, depending on experience and qualifications
