We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled **Senior Automation Tester** with strong expertise in Java to join our dynamic team.
**Responsibilities**
- Write functional, integration, and acceptance test cases
- Automate regression, functional, and smoke test cases using well-known frameworks
- Plan and execute automation tasks, ensuring strict adherence to testing standards
- Integrate automated test cycles seamlessly into the continuous DevOps pipeline
- Investigate and resolve system issues creatively and efficiently
- Automate testing for back-end services such as REST APIs and front-end components
- Document and report defects with a clear understanding of their impact
- Manage test data and environments to ensure smooth test execution
- Organize test script versions and maintain version control best practices
**Requirements**:
- 5+ years of professional experience in Quality Assurance, including 3+ years of test automation or a combination of development and testing roles
- Knowledge of REST & SOAP API testing with tools such as SOAPUI and Groovy scripting
- Expertise in Selenium or similar automation tools, combined with Java programming skills
- Proficiency in creating and maintaining automation scripts for functional, integration, and regression scenarios
- Understanding of CI/CD pipeline integration for automated test suites
- Competency in manual testing with robust attention to detail
- Familiarity with agile methodologies, including sprint planning and collaboration
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and organizational skills
- Client-facing interaction capabilities and clear communication, both verbal and written
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher
**Nice to have**
- Skills in Apache Maven or Gradle for build and dependency management
- Knowledge of Mainframe operations
