**About Us**:The Home Health Consultant is a fast-growing healthcare compliance consulting firm helping home health and hospice agencies stay compliant, survey-ready, and operationally excellent. We produce a variety of video content—including 30-60 minute podcasts and informational videos—designed to educate and support healthcare providers nationwide.
We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented **Video Editor** to help us elevate our video content across platforms. If you have a passion for storytelling, love working with long-form content, and can break it down into engaging, platform-specific clips—this role is for you.
**What You’ll Do**:
- **Edit Weekly Podcasts & Informational Videos**:
- Clean audio and video for clarity, flow, and pacing (30-60 min episodes)
- Add branded intros, outros, transitions, and lower-thirds
- Sync multi-camera/audio if needed
- **Create Light Motion Graphics**:
- Add engaging titles, bullet animations, and key point highlights
- Occasionally animate logos or other simple branded elements
- **Design Click-Worthy Thumbnails**:
- Create compelling YouTube thumbnails aligned with our branding
- Use text overlays and images that stand out in feeds
- **Edit Short-Form Content for Social Media**:




- Repurpose podcast content into 30-90 second reels for LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube Shorts
- Add captions, cut-downs, and platform-optimized formats
- Follow social trends (hooks, formats, pacing)
**What We’re Looking For**:
- 2+ years of experience editing video and audio for YouTube, podcasting, or educational content
- Strong command of Adobe Premiere Pro (or similar), and tools like After Effects or Motion
- Experience editing for vertical (Reels/TikTok) and horizontal formats
- Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Photoshop, or Illustrator)
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and accept feedback
- Understanding of content marketing is a plus
**Bonus Points If You Have**:
- A portfolio that includes podcast editing or YouTube-style educational content
- Experience working with healthcare, B2B, or compliance-related content
- Familiarity with project management tools like ClickUp, Trello, or Notion
**Type**: Part-Time. Likely to be a long-term contracted position for 3-4 months with the possibility of extension
**Compensation**: Based on experience and project scope
