Overview:
A New Product Introduction Engineering Lead is responsible for overseeing the entire process of bringing new products to market, from manufacturing to launch.
This role involves leading cross-functional teams, ensuring smooth transitions from research and development to production, and optimizing manufacturing processes for efficiency and quality.

**Leading the NPI Process**:
- This includes developing and implementing plans to move products from initial design to full-scale production, ensuring all milestones are met and timelines are adhered to.
- **Cross-Functional Team Leadership**:
- Collaborating with various teams like engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality assurance, and potentially external suppliers, to ensure seamless integration and execution of the NPI process.
- **Technical Expertise**:
- Providing guidance on product design, manufacturing processes, and troubleshooting, often involving hands-on technical execution.
- **Quality Assurance**:
- Ensuring products meet quality and performance standards, including validation, reliability testing,



and addressing any quality excursions during production.
- **Process Optimization**:
- Identifying and implementing improvements to manufacturing processes, reducing cycle times, and enhancing overall product quality.
- **Documentation and Compliance**:
- Managing product documentation, including BOMs, engineering change orders (ECOs), and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- **Factory Readiness**:
- Preparing the manufacturing facility for new product launches, including equipment setup, process validation, and training.
- **Supplier Management**:
- Overseeing supplier qualification, PPAP activities, and validation of external manufacturing processes.
- **Travel**:
- The role may involve international travel to collaborate with integral teams or visit suppliers.Qualifications:
