Job Description: HR Manager (REMOTE - Bilingual: English & Spanish)
**Position Summary**
We are seeking a hands-on and experienced **HR Manager** to oversee the full scope of HR operations for Green Attic and EcoBuildPlus. This role combines **people operations, compliance, performance management, and culture building** in a fast-paced, growing construction environment.
The HR Manager will partner directly with leadership to shape HR policies, support employee success, and ensure compliance with employment laws and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
**Recruitment & Talent Management**
- Lead and support full-cycle recruitment efforts in partnership with the HR Recruiter.
- Develop hiring strategies for trade and office staff.
- Oversee onboarding processes and ensure smooth integration of new hires.
**HR Policies & Compliance**
- Develop, implement, and maintain an **HR manual and employee handbook**.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, including OSHA requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel files.
**Employee Relations & Performance Management**
- Serve as the **primary HR contact** for employee inquiries, disputes, and conflict resolution.
- Support managers in conducting performance reviews, improvement plans, and disciplinary actions.
- Promote a fair and transparent work environment.
**Benefits & Administration**




- Oversee employee benefits programs (health insurance, PTO, etc.).
- Provide guidance to employees on compensation and benefits.
**Culture & Engagement**
- Partner with leadership to strengthen **employee morale, engagement, and retention**.
- Implement recognition programs and internal communications to support company culture.
**Requirements**:
- **5+ years of progressive HR Manager experience** (generalist or manager-level).
- Strong knowledge of HR compliance, employment law, and OSHA standards.
- Experience developing HR policies and employee handbooks.
- Proven ability to handle employee relations and conflict resolution.
- Bilingual proficiency in **English & Spanish** (required).
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Comfortable working remotely and managing multiple priorities independently.
- Familiarity with productivity tools such as **Hubstaff**.
