**Summary**:
As an SDR, you’ll be the first point of contact with potential clients construction firms, contractors, and project leaders. Your mission: generate qualified leads and book meetings for our business development team. **Key Responsibilities**
- Lead Qualification: Understand client needs, challenges, and timelines to determine fit for our solutions.
- Pipeline Generation: Build and manage a steady flow of qualified opportunities in the CRM (HubSpot/Salesforce or similar).
- Messaging: Tailor outreach to the construction industry, positioning our services as solutions to hiring shortages, cost overruns, and project delays.
- Collaboration: Work closely with business development and recruiting teams to ensure smooth handoff of qualified leads.
- Market Insights: Stay sharp on construction trends, labor demands, and recruitment challenges to drive informed conversations.
**Requirements**:
- Background: 1-3 years of experience in construction (exposure to B2B sales or lead generation.)
- Communication: Outstanding written and verbal skills in English (Spanish is a strong plus).
- Sales DNA: Persistent, resilient, and comfortable handling objections.
- Tools: Experience with CRMs, prospecting platforms (e.g.,
LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, Outreach).
- Mindset: Hunter mentality with the discipline to follow processes and the curiosity to learn industry specifics.
- Previous sales development experience in a B2B environment.
- Fluency in Spanish and English.
- Knowledge of construction management software (Procore, Buildertrend, etc.).
