**ABOUT THE ROLE**
This is not a traditional Human Resources position. This is a **high-impact organizational transformation role** with real authority to redesign the structure of a rapidly growing company.
We are looking for a **Director of People & Performance** who acts as an **organizational architect**: someone capable of building performance management systems, installing middle management, clearly defining roles, implementing operational KPIs, and freeing the CEO and Presidency from operational overload that currently limits growth.
**KEY CHALLENGES YOU WILL SOLVE**
- Eliminate the CEO and Presidency bottleneck: design a strong middle management layer with real authority and clear escalation protocols.
- Build a functional organizational structure: clear reporting lines, well-defined roles, and elimination of redundancies.
- Implement performance measurement systems: KPIs by area and position, dashboards, and a culture of accountability.
- Identify and eliminate operational inefficiencies: map bottlenecks and redesign critical processes.
- Professionalize talent management: make firm decisions on hiring, promotions, and exits, while building an internal leadership pipeline.
**REQUIRED PROFILE**
**Experience & Education**
- 8-10 years in organizational transformation, operations, or talent leadership within high-growth companies.
- Proven experience building organizational structures (not just managing them).
- Track record of implementing KPIs and performance management systems with measurable results.
- Experience in manufacturing or production environments in high-growth contexts (preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Organizational Psychology, or related field. MBA preferred.
**Mindset & Personality**
- Executor with systemic thinking: delivers integrated solutions, not just diagnoses.
- Strong yet empathetic: able to make difficult people decisions with professionalism and respect.
- Data-driven with direct, no-nonsense communication.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building structure from scratch.
**6-MONTH GOALS**
- Functional organizational chart documented and implemented.
- 3-5 middle management roles hired or promoted.
- Reduction of direct reports to CEO and Presidency from 12+ to 4-6.
- Operational KPI system implemented across all areas.
- First performance evaluation cycle completed.
- Job descriptions documented for all key roles.
**WHAT WE OFFER**
- All legally required benefits.
- Performance-based bonus structure.
- Real growth opportunities within the company.
- Stability in a solid and expanding organization.
- A role with direct impact on the company’s transformation.
Compensation grows with the company: we review financial conditions as the organization scales and results are consolidated.
A real opportunity to grow alongside the company: we are in a phase of accelerated expansion, and those who join now will build their career from within.
**LOCATION & WORK MODE**
This is an **on-site position** based in Ajusco, Mexico City. Presence is required at both the factory and corporate offices.
**REPORTING STRUCTURE**
This position reports directly to the CEO and the Presidency. It is a **top-level executive role** with direct access to strategic decision-making and authority to propose and execute changes in organizational structure, personnel decisions, and performance management systems.
**APPLICATION**
Do you identify with this challenge? Send your CV along with a brief cover letter explaining why you are the right person to lead this transformation.
