**Creative Project Manager — Freelance**

Now we are seeking an experienced Creative Project Manager to support a growing pipeline of work across graphic design, animation and copywriting.
**The Opportunity**
This is a full-time freelance engagement of approximately 4 months. This role is client-facing and ideal for someone who has spent 4+ years inside design-focused creative agencies—_**not specifically marketing, digital, social, PR, video or advertising environments**_— and understands the nuance of managing purely creative production.
We’re looking for someone who operates comfortably at two levels:
- In the details: owning task management, timelines, budgets and execution with precision
- In the bigger picture: understanding how projects connect to resourcing, new business, and overall agency structure.
**What You'll Be Doing**
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the agency and clients, ensuring clear, consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead day-to-day project management across creative workstreams (branding, design systems, animation, copywriting)
- Build and maintain detailed project plans, timelines and task tracking at a granular level.
- Partner closely with art director, designers, animators and clients to ensure clarity, efficiency and high-quality output
- Translate client needs and creative briefs into actionable workflows and realistic schedules
- Identify risks early and proactively to solve for scope, timing or resourcing challenges
- Collaborate with leadership on resourcing strategy,



bandwidth planning and prioritization of projects (both internal and external)
- Ensure projects align with broader agency goals—not just immediate deliverables
**What We're Looking For**:
**~ Required ~**
- 4+ years of project management experience within a design-led creative agency **(not marketing, digital, social, PR, video and advertising agency experience specifically)**:
- Proven experience managing graphic design, animation and copywriting workflows
- Strong command of task-level detail—making sure nothing slips through the cracks
- Ability to think strategically about how projects impact the business holistically
- Clear, concise communicator with strong organizational and task management instincts
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative creative environment
- Experience working remotely with distributed teams

- Compensation: Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience. Range shared during the screening call.
- Tools provided: ClickUp license and all the required collaboration tools are provided by Designerds.
