**Medical Billing Coder (Administrative Track)**
Your Path from Administrative Expertise to Coding Excellence
This is the opportunity to receive Full-time employment from day one with paid coding certification training program **(CPC or equivalent)**. On-the-job mentorship, audits, and real-world coding experience with progressive skill development from foundational coding to advanced inpatient/DRG-based coding. This opportunity is a career path into Outpatient/Professional Coder and Coding Auditor or QA
**What You’ll Do **
As a Medical Billing Coder (Administrative Track), you’ll ensure the accuracy and integrity of medical documentation and billing processes. You will:
**Coding & Documentation Review **
- Review clinical documentation and assign appropriate diagnosis and procedural codes (ICD-10, CPT/HCPCS, ICD-PCS as applicable)
- Ensure coding accuracy, completeness, and compliance with U.S. payer and regulatory requirements
- Translate clinical services into standardized codes to support reimbursement
**Revenue Cycle & Quality Support **
- Support timely coding of accounts to meet billing and filing deadlines
- Identify documentation gaps and issue clear, compliant queries to providers or internal teams
- Partner with billing, AR, and audit teams to reduce denials and improve claim outcomes
- Track coding issues, trends, and discrepancies and escalate when needed
Operational Excellence
- Maintain productivity and accuracy standards (e.g., ≥95% coding accuracy target)
- Monitor work queues, unbilled accounts, and DNFB (Discharged Not Final Billed) as training progresses
- Ensure timely completion of assigned workloads within established SLAs
**Compliance & Tools **




- Adhere to HIPAA and all data privacy/security standards
- Use EHRs and coding tools (e.g., Epic, Cerner, 3M, EncoderPro) as applicable
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding guidelines and payer requirements
**Who You Are **
You’re someone who thrives in organized, process-driven environments and enjoys learning new skills. You value accuracy, teamwork, and meaningful work that makes a difference.
**Requirements: **
- Background in healthcare administration, billing, insurance verification, or similar administrative fields.
- 2-5 years of experience in documentation or process-driven roles (preferably with U.S. clients).
- Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish), with strong English reading comprehension.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and process discipline
- Strong computer literacy and eagerness to learn new systems.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and accountability.
**Preferred: **
- Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHRs) or clinical documentation review.
- Exposure to:
- U.S. healthcare systems or payer workflows
- Medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS coding concepts
- Background in auditing, data verification, or quality control.
Location: Colonia Del Valle, Mexico City
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
**Salary**: MXN $28,000-$35,000 per month
