This position is responsible for implementing and supporting technology related to the connectivity of networking, security, and telephony systems across the Enterprise to ensure the stable operation of IT assets and services. This includes recommending, developing, configuring, supporting, and optimizing all new and existing networking hardware, software, telecommunications, and related technologies. The Senior Network Administrator will require the ability to manage multiple priorities, including help desk tickets, daily tasks and projects, while working closely with other team members. It requires a person that can remain versátil and can effectively collaborate across technology teams and global business units. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work with diplomacy and positive attitude. Responsibilities will also include, but are not limited to, the following:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, but not limited to:
- Design, install, and maintain network systems, hardware, software, and peripherals across the enterprise as required
- Maintain Azure AWS Network Infrastructure
- Monitor, measure, and optimize performance of all network hardware, storage, software, telephony, cabling, and data communications connections ensuring maximum uptime
- Analyze, diagnose, and resolve issues to successful resolution or escalate as appropriate
- Identify, research, and resolve technical problems for individuals and groups in an efficient manner, recognizing the proper course of action to take, communicating and escalating severe issues as appropriate
- Provide escalated support for the Service Desk and Level II, perform Level II work as required
- Provide technical training for the Service Desk and Level II as required




- Communicate highly technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel
- Develop and maintain network security, data integrity, and file system security processes and procedures
- Perform knowledge transfers among team members by preparing and maintaining documentation for networks, systems, processes, procedures, written instructions, and solutions to problems
- Collaborate with team members to identify and recommend process, network, system, hardware, and software improvements and/or upgrades
- Maintain knowledge of developments in relevant technologies and their use in the industry, making recommendations when appropriate
- Assist team members as needed
- May be required to travel outside the State of Florida and the USA
- Available to work after hours and weekends as required
- Transport equipment using personal vehicle between multiple facilities within assigned service area, as directed by supervisor
- Other duties and projects as assigned by supervisor
- Perform Network Scans and Audits as Required
- Keep Network Inventory Controls and Equipment
- Ensure Equipment is maintained and patched with required firmware/software as needed
- Collaborate with Security Teams to Ensure all security requirements are met.
Cloud Networking (Azure & AWS)
- Support Microsoft Azure networking components including Virtual Networks (VNets), subnets, routing, Network Security Groups (NSGs), and site‑to‑site VPN connectivity.




- Assist with hybrid integration between on‑premises and Azure environments.
- Support basic AWS networking components including Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs), subnets, route tables, security groups, and network ACLs.
- Assist with site‑to‑site VPN and hybrid connectivity between on‑premises environments and AWS.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams to ensure cloud networking aligns with enterprise security standards.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- May lead and direct the work of team members (project specific)
PERFORMANCE STANDARDS/MEASUREMENTS;
- Provides quality, quantity, timeliness, and/or cost-effectiveness
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION and/or CERTIFICATION:
- Bachelor’s Degree in computer related field
- MCSE certification or equivalent certifications
- CCNA certification or equivalent certifications
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:
- Extensive working knowledge of networking, security, and telephony systems, including developing, configuring, supporting, and optimizing networking hardware, software, telecommunications, and related technologies
- Extensive working knowledge of networking standards, protocols, security, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- 3- 5 years of experience in a large technical environment supporting LANs, WANs, telephony, security, and related technologies
