In this role, you will contribute to the design and development of complex industrial and commercial projects while working alongside engineers, architects, and multidisciplinary project teams. The Structural Designer interprets design intent and translates it into completed working drawings while applying established design principles and discipline standards. Responsibilities Performs a variety of routine design assignments, with increasing responsibility, under the direction of a project engineer or department manager. Develop and prepare structural design drawings, models, and construction documents. Translate design concepts and engineering direction into completed working drawings and project deliverables. Utilize Revit to develop complex structural models, ensuring high levels of accuracy, data integrity, and cross-discipline coordination within the BIM environment. Compile project data, perform quantity take-offs, and assist in the preparation of cost estimates. Perform routine design calculations and prepare layouts for review by the responsible engineer. Develop project details, evaluate design alternatives, and support project execution.
