Planner Buyer Supervisor

About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Planner Buyer Supervisor to lead and coordinate production planning, material planning, and procurement activities within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This role serves as the key liaison between Planner Buyers, manufacturing partners, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure material availability, production continuity, and on-time customer delivery. The successful candidate will supervise planning and purchasing activities, align material requirements with production schedules, and drive operational excellence through expert use of Oracle ERP and planning systems.

This position requires a strong background in supply chain planning, procurement, materials management, MRP, MPS, and manufacturing operations, along with proven leadership experience managing planning teams.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise a team of Planner Buyers, providing direction, coaching, and performance support.




Coordinate production plans and material requirements to support manufacturing schedules and customer demand.
Serve as the primary connection between internal operations, contract manufacturers, suppliers, and planning teams.
Monitor and supervise material flow to ensure timely availability of components and finished goods.
Manage inbound material processes, inventory levels, and supply continuity.
Utilize Oracle ERP to execute and monitor planning, purchasing, inventory, and manufacturing activities.
Analyze demand requirements and translate them into procurement and production plans.
Develop, maintain, and execute Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and Master Production Scheduling (MPS) processes.
Support Master Production Planning (MPP) activities to optimize production capacity and inventory performance.
Partner closely with Manufacturing, Logistics, Procurement, Customer Service, and Supply Chain teams to resolve supply risks and operational constraints.
