Position Overview: The Payroll Administrator facilitates the payroll process for the US and other countries as assigned.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Prepares and processes semi-monthly domestic payrollMonitors and enforces non-exempt timekeeping policiesMonitors and enforces paid time off submissions and approvalsAggregates and processes supplemental pay dataLiaises with international and domestic HR teams to facilitate monthly payroll processingMaintains current knowledge of applicable state and federal wage and hour laws.Monitors, maintains and troubleshoots state and local tax registrations and issues.Stays current on payroll systems to achieve alignment with HR benefits and other related items and to ensure effective accounting supportInterfaces with employees to answer all payroll related questionsProcess payment of all leaves of absence in compliance with all LOA laws (California's Pregnancy Disability Leave (PDL), Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and California Family Right's Act (CFRA) and company policies based on information received from HREnsures new employees are paid based on pro-rata calculation where applicableEnsures California State employees final pay checks are issued in accordance with the law and Bracket policyIncludes all final Regular Wages,
Paid Time Off Buyout and any supplemental pay owed to the employeeEnsures all non-California State employees final checks are issued in accordance with the law and Signant Health policyIncludes Regular Wages and any supplement wagesPaid Time Off Buyout ("PBO") to be paid in pay date following the final regular earnings check as defined by state lawPrepares and issues manual checks as neededInternational payrolls – provides assistance as needed to General Payroll Manager and International HR teamsRuns various audit reports throughout the payroll cycle to review HRIS updates to prevent overpaymentsThis position has no supervisory responsibilitiesAd Hoc reporting as requiredSkills & Competencies:Education - Bachelor's degree preferredExperience :Must have 3-5 years payroll experienceCeridian Dayforce experience highly preferredMicrosoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)Competencies & Personal Attributes:Accuracy and attention to detailProven track record of reliability, confidentiality and excellent work habitsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage deadlines and operate around payroll cycle scheduleAbility to work independently and perform self-checks and work review procedures
