MezTal is hiring an experienced Agile Project Manager to support a US-based client in the Senior Living and Healthcare Services sector.This role will be key in driving Agile transformation initiatives, supporting large-scale Agile delivery, and enabling cross-functional teams to successfully deliver IT projects and digital initiatives aligned with business strategy.The Agile Project Manager will act as a servant leader and Agile coach, supporting Agile Release Train (ART) execution, facilitating Agile events, managing dependencies and risks, and driving continuous improvement across teams and stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesAgile Delivery & Project Execution Lead implementation and delivery of key IT and digital transformation projects.
Develop and execute complex project and delivery plans.
Ensure successful value delivery aligned with business objectives.
ART Facilitation & SAFe Execution Facilitate ART events and ceremonies, including: PI Planning Scrum of Scrums ART Sync Inspect & Adapt Ensure adherence to SAFe principles and Agile best practices.
Backlog & Prioritization Collaborate with Product Management and stakeholders to: Maintain and prioritize ART backlog Align delivery with strategic business goals Ensure continuous value delivery Risk, Dependency & Release Management Identify and mitigate cross-team risks and dependencies.
Escalate impediments and drive resolution.
Coordinate release planning and execution with technical and business teams.
Communicate release status and delivery health to stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement & Metrics Use Agile metrics and delivery data to:
Identify improvement opportunities Optimize ART performance Improve delivery predictability and flow Facilitate retrospectives and improvement initiatives.
Stakeholder Communication Provide regular updates on delivery progress, risks, and issues.
Ensure transparency across teams and leadership.
Support product demos and feedback cycles.
Coaching & Agile Culture Coach teams and stakeholders in SAFe and Agile mindset adoption.
Promote continuous learning and improvement culture.
Support Agile maturity growth across teams.
Process & Tool Optimization Evaluate and improve Agile processes and workflows.
Leverage Agile tools and metrics for data-driven decision making.
Advanced English proficiency is required, as the role involves daily interaction with U.S.-based manager and stakeholders.Availability to work in a hybrid manner at our offices in Guadalajara, Mexico at Midtown Jalisco.Experience 5+ years working as: Agile Project Manager Scrum Master Release Train Engineer (RTE) Agile Program / Delivery Lead Proven experience working in SAFe environments.
Experience supporting large-scale Agile delivery across multiple teams.
Agile & SAFe Strong experience facilitating: PI Planning ART ceremonies Cross-team coordination Strong Agile coaching and mentoring skills.
Certifications SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) — Required Additional certifications are a plus: SAFe RTE SAFe Scrum Master PMP / PgMP or equivalent Tools & Technical Environment Strong experience with: Azure DevOps (or similar ALM tools) Agile delivery tracking tools Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and release processes is a plus.
