Summary OEC Group is currently searching for a motivated and personable individual to join ourOcean Import Department.
The Ocean Import Coordinator is primarily responsible forensuring the proper and timely movement of freight and information while complyingwith any internal and external requirements.
In addition, developing and maintainingrelationships with carriers, customers, and warehouses to guarantee the timely delivery ofshipments.Company Overview Established in ****, OEC Group is one of the leading NVOCC freight forwardingcompanies.

Other duties may be assigned.
Tracking, tracing, and updating the status of shipments daily.
Accurate and timely data entry into our system (CargoWise).
Effective communication with customers, vendors, other OEC offices, and coworkers through a high volume of e-mails, phone calls, and verbal contact.
Monitoring of reports.
Accurate and timely billing to customers.
Providing customer service via email and telephone correspondence to addresscustomer questions and concerns.
Maintaining strong and effective relationships with vendors (shipping lines, truckingcompanies, etc.).
Meet key performance indicators to support the department, branch, product, andoverall company goals.
Must have the desire to understand the operational process flow and constantlyseek improved ways for efficiency.
Reporting workflow progress to Management on a frequent basis.Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential dutysatisfactorily.
