TLDI is looking for an Architect or Civil Engineer with at least 5 years of relevant experience to join our Project Planning & Control team for a hospitality project in the Cancún area.
This is an on-site position for a technically strong professional with hands-on construction experience who can support the team in the review, coordination and preparation of information required for procurement and construction.
Key responsibilities:
Review architectural, structural and MEP drawings, identifying inconsistencies, missing information and coordination issues.
Coordinate technical information between designers, consultants, contractors and the Project Management team.
Support constructability reviews and follow up on technical issues affecting construction.
Prepare and organize scope packages, quantity take-offs, catalogs/BOQs and technical information for contractor and subcontractor pricing.
Review contractor quotations and verify alignment with drawings,
specifications and defined scope.
Track drawing revisions, RFIs, design comments and pending technical decisions.
Support the release of information required by the construction and procurement teams.
What we’re looking for:
Degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in construction, technical coordination, project controls or design management.
Previous on-site construction experience.
Experience in hotel, resort or hospitality construction is preferred.
Strong ability to read and coordinate architectural, structural and MEP drawings.
Good understanding of construction methods, quantities, specifications and scopes of work.
Experience preparing information for tendering and quotation processes is highly valued.
AutoCAD proficiency; Revit knowledge is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Project is preferred.
