Description

Manager: You will report to the North America Director of Social Impact and Community Engagement, who is based in Boise, ID.

Management: The role currently does not have any direct reports.

Grants:
- Source, make, and manage the local grants portfolio.
- Grants to include implementation of STEM outreach in underserved and underrepresented communities via Micron STEM Signature Programs (Chip Camps, Careers in a High-Tech World, and Girls Going Tech).
- Grants will seek to increase access of vulnerable and underrepresented populations to STEM education, jobs, and careers.
- Grant portfolio will include organizations that have been identified by a participatory grantmaking process involving Employee Resource Groups among others.




- Benevity is the software you will use to create and manage grants (as well as any sponsorships and in-kind contributions).

Employee Volunteerism and Giving:
- Develop partnerships and activities to mobilize employee volunteerism and donations.
- Execute activities related to Star Light (Micron’s annual month of service campaign)

Community Engagement:
- Develop and execute community engagement strategy, which could include partnerships with nonprofits, multilateral organizations, schools, and other civil society actors in Mexico.
- Establish and maintain relationships with other corporate and private philanthropies.

Corporate Collaboration:
- You will practice a shared value approach to corporate social responsibility and collaborate with other business units and teams, including those leading communications, marketing, government relations, sustainability, culture, talent acquisition, university relations, and wellbeing.
