We are seeking a motivated Accountant to handle general accounting tasks with a focus on accounts payable for our U.S.-based operations. This position is idóneo for someone looking to grow in a full-cycle accounting role while maintaining strong AP oversight.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and record accounts payable transactions, including vendor invoices and payments.
- Reconcile accounts payable to the general ledger and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist in preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly financial statements.
- Support month-end and year-end close activities.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve payment issues.
- Assist with audits by providing required documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (mandatory).
- 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably with U.S.-based companies.
- Professional English proficiency (written and spoken).
- Knowledge of GAAP and standard accounting practices.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Stampli (AP automation) and/or Paylocity (payroll software).
- Exposure to both accounts payable and payroll processes.
