As a User Experience Researcher for NielsenIQ, you will shape the future of business intelligence. You’ll uncover new problem spaces, spark ideas, and identify opportunities to craft innovative, high-impact experiences in our data analytics products.
You will champion the customer's needs within the business, collaborating closely with designers, product managers, and technology partners across multiple product verticals to explore complex challenges. Within the organization, you will belong to our small-but-mighty integral UX Research team driving impactful, user-focused research that informs product strategy.
Your mission: bridge user needs and product goals. Through a special focus on qualitative research interviews, you’ll uncover untapped opportunities, flag unknown problems, and put hypotheses and assumptions to the test. You will distill findings into clear, actionable insights that ensure we deliver solutions that address unmet customer needs while aligning with business goals.
Job DescriptionResponsibilities:
- Conduct end-to-end research using both qualitative and quantitative methods—planning, executing, and synthesizing findings to support product and design decisions
- Engage cross-functional stakeholders to align on research needs and define projects with clear goals, hypotheses, recruiting characteristics, methods to be used, and expected impact
- Interview external clients and internal subject matter experts regularly, with a focus on interviewing high-stakes clients in the U.S.
- Analyze, synthesize, and interpret study findings into key insights to be delivered to cross-disciplinary stakeholders in clear, concise, and compelling ways
- Independently but collaboratively deliver research outputs like reports, presentations, insights documentation, and the expected impact on the product
