Your mission, roles and responsibilities
Related to the scope of responsibility:
- Become and act as an accountable, autonomous, and open-minded member in an international Team of IT engineers with global responsibilities
- Support the whole lifecycle of the group-wide IT Infrastructure and technologies (Plan/Build/Run)
- Support the deployment of general IT projects and provide technical expertise for internal and external stakeholders
- Manage and coordinate tasks and topics with relevant external service providers, partners, and integrators
- Review and develop further the IT systems/infrastructures and processes
- Take part in the creation/review and improvement of IT standards and policies
- Providing strategic and tactical advice for new and existing product and solutions related to the scope of responsibility
- Support, when required, the implementation of Proof of concept(s) and pilot(s)
- Contribute in the creation and update/improvement of the documentation for the systems administrated
Your profile and competencies to succeed
The ideal candidate will be/have:
- Associates/Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, applicable certifications, or 5 years experience in the function
- Familiarity with real time shop floor data systems and automotive production line processes is a plus
- Experience in an automotive manufacturing production environment preferred
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and understanding of when to escalate issues.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse population and demonstrate good interpersonal skills.
- Excellent customer service skills. Customer service skills training and experience in or out of IT preferred.
- Requires familiarity with Microsoft Operating Systems and Microsoft Server 2008 and above
- Requires familiarity with Microsoft Office
- Requires familiarity with software and hardware of PC
