About the role

We are seeking a Senior Manager of tax to oversee the Tax Compliance and Advisory functions for our LATAM operations (excluding Brazil), based out of our Mexico City office. You will report to the Director of Tax, Americas, in Mexico City and will lead a local team of stunning colleagues.

You are a curious self-starter who can collaborate effectively both within Tax and with cross-functional partners. You possess 12+ years of relevant experience in Mexico tax compliance functions, as well as experience managing regional tax compliance, relationships with tax authorities, and leading teams.
You have a hands-on mentality that balances with a strategic vision for the function.

Responsibilities
Your primary responsibilities will be managing and overseeing ongoing compliance requirements related to direct, indirect, and/or digital service taxation in the LATAM region (including Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Chile, and Perú, among others), as well as providing regional tax advisory support. Your day-to-day activities will include:
- Overseeing month-end and quarter-end close activities, as well as routine monthly and yearly indirect and direct tax compliance
- Supervising and owning the tax accounting function, including the Income Tax Provision under US GAAP
- Managing Statutory audits for local Financial Reporting and Tax authority audits
- Provide Tax Advisory related to our local
