Tax Associate

About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Tax Associate to join a fast-growing, high-performing team specializing in U.S. tax credits and incentives. This role is adecuado for early-career professionals who want to deepen their expertise in R&D; Tax Credits and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, client-facing environment.
You will play a key role in supporting end-to-end tax credit engagements, working closely with experienced professionals while contributing directly to client deliverables and project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the preparation, analysis, and filing of U.S. tax credits and incentives, with a focus on R&D; tax credits
- Analyze client operations, financial data, and technical documentation to determine eligibility and calculate credits
- Conduct research on federal and state tax regulations and incentive programs
- Review, organize, and validate client-provided documentation and financial data
- Prepare detailed workpapers, calculations, and supporting documentation




- Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Collaborate with internal teams and maintain clear, professional communication with clients
- Ensure compliance with internal processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
- 1+ year of experience in tax, public accounting, or tax advisory
- Hands-on experience with tax returns and/or tax credits (R&D; preferred)
- Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and U.S. tax regulations
- Ability to read and interpret financial statements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Experience with tax research tools (e.g., CCH, BNA, Checkpoint, or similar)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
