The Forecast Analyst role at Micron involves working on projects related to our Forecast Analyst Team. The primary responsibility is to develop and manage the 3-9 month sales plan for each Business Unit. This role requires analyzing forecast, supply, and marketing data to provide Sales and Business Unit leadership with a forward-looking view of the sales plan. Additionally, the Forecast Analyst will collaborate with internal teams to ensure appropriate support for various segments and identify opportunities for additional sales growth.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage the 3-9 month sales plan for each Business Unit.
- Analyze forecast, supply, and marketing data to provide insights to Sales and Business Unit leadership.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure segment support and evaluate opportunities for sales growth.
Minimun Qualifications:
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize large amounts of quantitative and qualitative data into meaningful insights.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Tableau, and Power BI.
- Effective interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
- English language communication skills (conversational level is a must).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- A detail-oriented approach with the ability to track sales progress over time.
- A strong bias for action, attention to detail, and the ability to drive tasks to completion assertively.
- A desire to work with cross-functional teams across multiple sites while managing high-priority deliverables.
