About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with a strong background in property accounting. The idóneo candidate will be responsible for managing the full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of properties, ensuring accuracy, compliance with U.S. GAAP, and timely reporting.
This role requires advanced Excel skills, strong organizational abilities, and the capability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage all aspects of property accounting, including general ledger, bank reconciliations, and month-end/year-end close.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Record and reconcile accounts payable, accounts receivable, accruals, and prepayments.
• Maintain accurate fixed asset and depreciation schedules.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses for assigned properties.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and lease agreements.




• Partner with property management teams to provide financial insights and resolve accounting-related issues.
• Assist with external audits and tax filings by providing schedules and support documentation.
• Utilize advanced Excel functions for data analysis and reporting.
• Preferred: Work with Yardi or similar property management/accounting software.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in property accounting.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
- Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas).
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal).
- Preferred: Experience in Senior Housing, Real Estate, Hospitality, or Healthcare.
- Preferred: Hands-on experience with Yardi.
