As a Medical Scribe, you will hold a pivotal position within the healthcare landscape, focusing on maintaining precise documentation of medical records and providing invaluable assistance to physicians during patient interactions. This remote position requires excellent listening and typing skills, as well as a strong understanding of medical terminology and procedures. You will work closely with healthcare providers to transcribe patient encounters, update electronic health records (EHR), and facilitate seamless communication between medical staff. Key Responsibilities:
- Transcribe Patient Encounters: Listen to physician-patient interactions and accurately transcribe medical histories, examination findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans into electronic health records (EHR) systems. Review transcribed notes and documentation for accuracy, completeness, and clarity, making any necessary corrections or clarifications as needed.




- Update Electronic Health Records (EHR): Ensure that patient records are complete, up-to-date, and compliant with regulatory standards by promptly documenting all relevant information provided during patient encounters.
- Facilitate Communication: Act as a liaison between physicians and other healthcare team members by relaying messages, orders, and instructions in a clear and timely manner, both verbally and electronically.
- Maintain Confidentiality: Uphold strict patient confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations when handling sensitive medical information and records.
- Provide Real-Time Assistance: Assist physicians during patient interactions by retrieving patient information, documenting procedures, and entering orders as directed, allowing providers to focus on patient care.
