Responsibilities for this position include working with engineering teams for early-stage silicon bring-up and post-silicon validation efforts, testing and characterization of hardware with system software, verification of device performance at various operating conditions (voltage, process, temperature). Work will also include working with team project leads to develop effective production screens for system level issues. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience. OR Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of Hardware Engineering or related work experience. OR PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field. 2-6 years of experience in system or bench-level testing, preferably within mobile, automotive, IoT, or microprocessor industries Understanding of computer architecture and operating systems (Android, Windows, Linux, or RTOS)



Experience with embedded systems and SoC-level testing concepts Ability to develop or execute test cases for processors, graphics, memory, thermal behavior, and power performance of SoCs Experience reading specifications, creating test plans, and using test sequencers. Familiarity with source control systems such as Perforce or Git. Programming experience in one or more of the following languages: C, C++, Python, C#, or .NET. Experience with debugging or triage using Android debugging tools, JTAG, Lauterbach, or Trace32. Hands-on experience with lab measurement tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and power supplies. Ability to collect, analyze, interpret, and summarize test data Understanding of Android system architecture and boot process. Familiarity with system-level benchmarks such as Dhrystone and DOU.
