The Jr
Accountant will support the Accounting Department in managing the daily
operations. This role involves assisting with general accounting functions,
including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations. The
Jr Accountant will help ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial statements
by adhering to established accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
Additionally, the Jr Accountant will help create and update Standard Operating
Procedures (SOPs) to streamline and improve accounting processes.

Job
responsibilities and functions

Assist in Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.

General
Accounting Functions:
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial
records.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure all entries are accurate.

Use of
Accounting Software:
- Utilize Business Central for managing financial data and
transactions.




- Use SAP Concur for processing expense reports and ensuring
compliance with company policies.

Project
Collaboration:
- Collaborate with team members using Asana to track tasks and
deadlines.
- Organize and maintain shared folders for easy access to
financial documents and records.

Compliance and
Procedures:
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company
policies.
- Assist in the creation and updating of Standard Operating
Procedures (SOPs) to improve accounting processes.

Support and
Communication:
- Provide documentation and support during audits, including
preparing audit work-papers.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of 1099 documentation.
- Ad-Hoc Projects: Participate in special projects and tasks as
assigned by the Accounting Department or Management.

Requirements
- University/ College degree (Indispensable)
- Upper Intermediate English level
- Specialized knowledge:
- General Accounting
- US GAAP
