WHAT IS YOUR ROLEAs a Senior Payroll Specialist, you will own the day-to-day administration of U.S. payroll and compliance for a distributed workforce of 600–1,000 employees across ~35 states, including a large nonexempt/hourly population.
On the payroll side, you’ll manage the bi-weekly payroll cycle in Paylocity, coordinating closely with the U.S.



payroll partner, who processes payroll. You’ll submit and audit payroll changes including new hires, terminations, clawbacks, corrections, and direct deposit updates, review timecard adjustments for a large hourly population, and process ad-hoc termination pay. You’ll operate within tight deadlines, auditing carefully before finalization and escalating discrepancies quickly.
On the compliance side, you’ll own the U.S. compliance calendar end-to-end. That includes managing required reporting such as EEO-1, CA Pay Data, and OSHA 300, coordinating ACA and non-discrimination testing with Benefits, reviewing and escalating background checks, running quarterly health exclusion checks, monitoring legislative changes across states, and partnering with Legal on handbook and policy updates.
