Our headquarters is in sunny Sydney, Australia, but our team spans the globe. While we support adaptable, remote-friendly ways of working, for this role, we’re focusing on Mexico City, Mexico, so we can best support our teams and keep collaboration flowing.
What you’d be doing in this role
As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that's all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.
At the moment, this role is focused on:
- Owning Education as a growth vertical in Mexico — driving activation, repeat usage, and measurable adoption across teachers and students.




- Designing and executing Mexico’s education growth strategy — from grassroots teacher engagement to municipality-level partnerships.
- Shifting the focus from “train” to “activate & retain” — embedding Canva into everyday classroom workflows.
- Aligning Sales, Marketing, Content, Product, and Partnerships around clear education growth outcomes.
- Identifying friction in onboarding and reducing barriers to sustained usage at scale.
- Building scalable, locally relevant initiatives that turn education into a compounding acquisition and frequency engine.
