We are seeking a highly experienced Mechanical Engineer/Designer with around 20 years of expertise in HVAC design for commercial buildings. The adecuado candidate has a solid background working in an MEP engineering office, collaborating closely with architectural clients, and delivering high-quality, efficient mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of HVAC systems for commercial building projects.
- Apply deep knowledge of hydronic systems, including chilled water, hot water, and steam.
- Integrate building automation systems to ensure energy efficiency and performance.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to align project goals.
- Review and validate mechanical design drawings, specifications, and calculations.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Support projects from conceptual design through construction administration.
- Registered Mechanical Engineer
- At least 20 years of HVAC design experience, preferably in an MEP engineering firm.
- Strong expertise in hydronic systems (chilled water, hot water, steam).
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with building automation systems.
- Commercial building project experience required; healthcare/hospital project experience is a strong plus.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
- Strong communication and coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams.
- Amenable to work remotely during U.S. business working hours.
