Job DescriptionWhat are your contributions to the team?
- Design, specify, test,



validate and release Propulsion Systems components for assigned vehicle families.
- Analyze and solve parts-related failures; propose, validate and obtain cost reductions.
- Document changes or modifications to components (Change Notices).
- Request and authorize testing to validate compliance with Design Requirements (DVP&R;).
- Evaluate requests for component functional testing in assembly plants (Production Evaluation Request).
- Release temporary approvals for part validation (Interim Approval Authorization).
- Analyze and solve functional and durability failures (Customer Problem Resolution Team, Quality Alerts, etc.).
- Develop parts with suppliers according to the Source Package process.
- Support Assembly Plants with specifications and design changes.
- Use hardware/software tools to create and modify designs; attend training and development programs.
- Standardize and benchmark components.
- Create FMEA
