Purpose of Role
The High School Psychology Department Coordinator is responsible for leading, developing, and overseeing the academic, pedagogical, and operational functioning of the Psychology Department at the high school level. The role ensures academic excellence, curriculum alignment, teacher support, and the promotion of students’ critical thinking, socio-emotional understanding, and ethical awareness within the discipline of Psychology.
The Coordinator works collaboratively with school leadership, faculty members, and other departments to maintain high academic standards and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

ISP Academic Coordinator Key Responsibilities
- Academic Leadership
- Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of the Psychology curriculum in alignment with institutional standards and educational frameworks.
- Ensure vertical and horizontal curriculum alignment across grade levels.
