Resource Specialist
Job Summary
The Resource Specialist is responsible for supporting workforce planning, resource coordination, and staffing operations to ensure the right talent is assigned to the right work at the right time. This role partners with project leaders, managers, and delivery teams to track resource demand, availability, utilization, and allocation across the organization. The position also supports process improvement initiatives,
including automation and AI-enabled tools that enhance planning accuracy, reporting efficiency, and operational visibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate resource requests, allocations, and assignments across multiple teams and projects.
- Track resource availability, utilization, capacity, and scheduling to support workforce planning.
- Partner with project managers, team leads, and leadership to align staffing needs with business priorities.
- Maintain accurate resource data in internal systems, dashboards, and trackers.
- Support onboarding, transitions, backfills, and assignment changes as needed.
- Monitor staffing gaps, conflicts, and forecasted demand to help proactively identify risks.
- Prepare reports and summaries on resource utilization, headcount, and staffing status.
