This position plays an important role in managing customer orders from order entry through shipment coordination and delivery. The Order Processing Specialist works closely with customers, vendors, Sales, Logistics, Warehouse, and other internal teams to ensure orders are processed accurately, efficiently, and on time.

The position is remote based in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico. Traveling required for training, meetings, and other business activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Accurately enter, validate, and release customer orders in SAP Business ONE or a similar ERP system.
- Verify pricing, quantities, shipping information, payment terms, freight terms, and other order details.
- Coordinate with Sales, Logistics, Warehouse, inventory teams, plants, and vendors to support timely order fulfillment.
- Communicate order status, ETAs, changes, discrepancies, and shipment information to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor shipments and assist with carrier, delivery, and fulfillment issues.
- Coordinate vendor purchase orders, confirmations, lead times, backorders, substitutions, and expedited orders.
- Support returns, replacements, credits, and RMA/RGA documentation.
- Maintain accurate order records, customer communications, and supporting documentation.
- Validate order pricing against approved quotes and escalate discrepancies before processing.
- Support international customer orders and shipping requirements.
- Assist with commercial invoices, packing lists, HS codes, Country of Origin documentation, Incoterms, and freight-forwarder coordination.
- Support import/export and customs-related shipment coordination.




- Identify order or logistics issues and work proactively with the appropriate teams to resolve or escalate them.
- Provide professional and responsive internal and external customer service.

Education and Experience

- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, International Trade, or a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in order processing, logistics, procurement, customer service, supply chain, or a related operations/administrative role preferred. Relevant education may be considered in combination with experience.
- ERP experience; SAP Business One experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of order fulfillment, shipping logistics, Incoterms, and freight terms preferred.
- Professional proficiency in English required; bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
- Import/export experience or academic exposure to international logistics preferred, including familiarity with shipping documentation, freight-forwarder coordination, and customs-clearance processes.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in order entry and data processing.
- Strong customer-service skills with a proactive approach to issue identification and resolution.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a deadline-driven environment.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

- Bilingual (Spanish- English) Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with customers, vendors, freight partners, and internal teams at all levels.
- Ability to learn CMF Global products, terminology, processes, and systems and accurately communicate order-related information.
- Strong organizational and follow-through skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize time-sensitive orders and customer requirements.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, data tracking, and basic report preparation; Excel proficiency preferred.
- Ability to learn and effectively use ERP, communication, and order-management systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to recognize when an issue requires escalation.





Work & Travel Requirements

- This is a primarily remote position based in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico.
- Candidates must have reliable internet access and an appropriate workspace for confidential business communications.
- A valid passport and U.S. visa or other appropriate travel authorization is required for periodic training, meetings, and other business activities in the United States.
- Adjusted hours may occasionally be necessary during peak order periods or for time-sensitive shipment and customer-service requirements.
