? Monterrey, Reciente León, Mexico An international manufacturing company is looking for a Materials Planning Manager to join its team, with strong experience in manufacturing, materials planning, and team leadership.

? Position Overview

Lead the Materials Planning function, ensuring material availability for production while optimizing inventory levels and strengthening planning and supply processes.

? Key Responsibilities

- Lead and develop the Materials Planning team.
- Manage MRP and planning parameters.
- Define and optimize Safety Stock, Lead Times, Reorder Points, and Lot Sizes.
- Ensure material availability and prevent production stoppages.
- Drive inventory optimization and working capital improvements.
- Monitor MRP exceptions and supply risks.
- Work closely with Production, Operations, Procurement, Warehouse, and Supply Chain teams.
- Establish and monitor materials, inventory, and supplier performance KPIs.
- Standardize planning processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop the team and promote accountability and operational excellence.





? Candidate Profile

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Materials Planning, Inventory Management, or Supply Chain.
- Leadership experience.
- Manufacturing experience required.
- Strong knowledge of MRP and ERP systems such as SAP, JDE, or Oracle.
- Knowledge of Inventory Management, Safety Stock, Reorder Point, Supply Planning, and SIOP/S&OP.;
- Fluent English.
- Analytical, hands-on, and results-oriented leadership style.
