Job Title: IT Project Manager (Health Care Background)
Location: Mexico (Remote)
Duration: Full time
The IT Project Manager is a dynamic problem solver and thought-leading thinker with a professional poise. The IT Project Manager will use exceptional communication skills to manage the delivery of projects across multiple portfolios. The IT Project Manager will demonstrate a curiosity and willingness to grasp and adapt quickly to business concepts while demonstrating a meticulous attention to details and documentation.
Relevant bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
3 to 5 years’ experience in project management
~ Project management specific toolsets such as ServiceNow Project Portfolio Management (PPM) software, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, etc.
~ Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Visio, and PowerPoint
~ Experience with Healthcare IT technology, infrastructure, and electronic records implementation projects in a large matrix organization.
~ Understanding and exposure to SDLC, PMBOK, Agile Scrum, Lean Six Sigma, & Hybrid project management methodology
PMP certification preferred, but not mandatory.
Certified Scrum Master preferred, but not mandatory.
Demonstrates working knowledge of project management PMBOK methodology and SDLC and basic knowledge of program management and applies it to the day-to-day work.
Manages large projects with medium to high complexity using corporate processes and artifacts.
Establishes and executes project communication, meeting facilitation, and status updates.
Ensures project sponsors and owners remain fully informed with accurate, transparent, and timely information regarding project status, risks, action items and budget.
Demonstrated success in team leadership, stakeholder management, process adherence, ownership/ commitment, learning agility and risk management capabilities.
Works with product/project owner to ensure scope is explicitly defined and documented and maintains integrity of scope.
Adapt approach and style to meet client/project needs; Demonstrates ability to view the work from the client/stakeholder perspective and synthesize those disparate views into a consensus view for the project team.
Ability to summarize detailed information to an Executive level and communicate effectively with an Executive audience.
Conducts quality reviews to ensure that the program, project artifacts and deliverables meet quality standards and specifications.
Manages day-to-day operational aspects of multiple projects and scopes. Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
Manages exposure and risk on projects to the minimum possible level.
Authors project artifacts such as Charter, SOW, Quality and Communication plans. Ensures all project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
Manages project and program budgets, analyzes budget data to produce project financial reports.
Consults with internal and external clients to prototype, refine, test, and debug programs and attain client approval.
