The Opportunity The Senior Supplier Relations Manager is a member of the larger marketing and partnerships (“M&P;”) team, focusing on supporting and executing strategic partnership initiatives with a primary focus on LATAM. As part of the integral 1GN Partnerships team, this role will build and maintain strong relationships with partners, advisors, and internal teams while driving engagement, satisfaction, and growth. Leveraging your industry expertise and supplier connections, you will help ensure F1S delivers an exceptional experience for travel advisors and their clients globally.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
•Collaborate with advisors through LATAM and the broader 1GN network to foster engagement with partners, resolve conflicts, and provide expert guidance on best practices for supplier relations.
•Be a member of the 1GN Partnerships team, delivering seamless support and conflict resolution across time zones to ensure service "around the sun."
•Work with advisors to optimize booking strategies that maximize commissions.
•Negotiate and secure local supplier partnerships to support F1S's continued growth throughout the LATAM region.
•Negotiate competitive local rates for Mexican national travelers to enhance advisor value and client savings.
•Act as a key point of contact for advisors, addressing partnership-related issues and escalating as needed to ensure resolution.
•Build, maintain, and strengthen strategic relationships with hotel, cruise, tour, and destination partners throughout LATAM.
•Leverage supplier relationships to enhance program offerings and improve overall client satisfaction.
•Coordinate and facilitate supplier partner training sessions, webinars, and educational events to increase advisor product knowledge and drive preferred partner engagement.
•Day-to-day management of F1S OR1GINALS Collection including identifying and signing up boutique properties for the collection, communicating with hotels on GDS rate loading instructions, auditing program and communication to advisors.
•Assist F1S SUMM1T committee on assigned tasks for the conference including but not limited to supplier partner signups, attendance at conference representing the partnerships team and other responsibilities as needed.
•Drive advisor engagement by implementing feedback and recommendations from the M&P; Committee to improve their experience.
•Research, troubleshoot, and resolve partnership-related requests in collaboration with internal teams.
•Support Partnership Directors in enhancing communication and collaboration with preferred partners.
•Work closely with internal departments, including regional leaders, sales, marketing, operations, IT, and finance, to align partnership initiatives with broader company goals.
•Collaborate with partners to expand reach and visibility among F1S advisors.
•Advocate for advisors, ensuring their needs and interests are communicated effectively to partners.
•Represent F1S at industry events, conferences, and trade shows, building strong relationships with advisors, and promoting the company’s values and services.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience Required
•A minimum of 6 years of experience in the travel or hospitality industry, with a strong focus on premium and luxury markets.
•Deep knowledge of premium and luxury hotels, destinations, and global experiences.
•Established network of supplier relationships within the LATAM travel industry preferred.
•Experience negotiating supplier agreements and preferred rates is highly desirable.
•Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse teams.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
•Self-starter with good judgment and the ability to work in fast-paced environments.
•Must be able to adapt quickly to changing needs and priorities.
•Professional proficiency in both English and Spanish (written and verbal) is required.
Work Schedule: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (minimum of 3 days per week in the office)
