Job Summary:

We are looking for a Senior Automation Engineer to develop and maintain robust automatedtesting solutions using Katalon Studio. The role focuses primarily on test automationdevelopment, quality assurance, and supporting continuous improvement in the automationprocesses.

The adecuado candidate will have strong hands-on experience in automation testing,particularly with Katalon Studio, and a passion for creating efficient and scalable testautomation solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Test Automation Development: Design, develop, and execute automated test scriptsusing Katalon Studio for web, mobile, and API applications. Implementconfiguration-over-code automation solutions to improve ease of use and scalability oftest cases.
- Automation Framework Maintenance: Contribute to the development and maintenance of automation frameworks, focusing on creating robust, reusable, andscalable solutions. Ensure the frameworks are easy to maintain and enhance by bothtechnical and non-technical team members.
- Test Execution and Reporting: Run automated tests, analyze test results, identifyissues, and report defects. Work closely with the QA and development teams to ensureefficient test coverage and defect resolution.
- CI/CD Integration: Work with the CI/CD team to integrate automated tests into thecontinuous integration pipeline using tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI to ensure timelyand accurate testing throughout the development lifecycle.
- Collaboration:



Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and otherengineers, to align on test coverage, priorities, and automation goals. Contribute to teamknowledge sharing and best practices in test automation.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest trends in test automation tools,technologies, and best practices. Implement improvements to increase automationefficiency, reduce maintenance overhead, and enhance test coverage.
- Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of test automation processes, frameworks, and scripts to ensure transparency and knowledge sharing across the team.

Required Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Senior Automation Engineer with a strong focus on KatalonStudio for test automation.
- Hands-on experience with Katalon Studio in automating web, mobile, and API tests.
- Solid experience with configuration-over-code automation solutions to create flexibleand scalable test cases.
- Experience with CI/CD integration and automating tests within CI/CD pipelines (e.g.,Jenkins, GitLab).
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and the SDLC, with experience working inan Agile environment.
- Proven track record of developing and maintaining automation frameworks that enhancetesting efficiency and coverage.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and providepractical solutions.
- Experience working with version control tools, particularly Git.
- Excellent team collaboration skills and ability to work independently with minimalsupervision.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with other automation tools or frameworks, such as Selenium, Appium, orTestNG.
- Familiarity with performance or load testing tools.
- Experience in cloud-based testing environments.
- Familiarity with test data management and creating test scenarios based on businessrequirements.
